Analysis: It's Atkins' third Pro Bowl selection. It gives the Bengals three players in the game, along with receiver A.J. Green and punter Kevin Huber. Atkins was picked despite coming off a subpar season, his first back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He had only three sacks and 34 tackles. Before the knee injury in 2013, Atkins led all interior NFL linemen in sacks.

Analysis: Atkins hurt his knee during a game Oct. 31 at Miami and had hoped to be ready for the start of training camp last Thursday, but coach Marvin Lewis wanted to be cautious. Atkins was limited to drills on a side field for the first week. Atkins was a 2012 All-Pro and a two-time Pro Bowl selection. He had 12 1-2 sacks in 2012, the most by an NFL interior lineman, and led the team with six sacks when he was hurt last season.

Analysis: Hall and Atkins are their two biggest questions heading into camp. Both are starters who mean a lot to a defense that ranked third in the NFL last season. Atkins tore a knee ligament Oct. 31. Coach Marvin Lewis says Atkins won't be cleared to practice at the outset, but he expects him to be back sometime during camp.
